Army organises Fashion Designing course at Tral

Srinagar: As part of Youth Empowerment initiatives undertaken by the Chinar Corps, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Tral organised a Fashion Designing course for unemployed girls of Tral for a duration of twelve weeks at Bajwani, Tral which culminated today in an impressive ceremony held at Community Development Centre, Bajwani, Tral.
A total of 43 girls attended and benefitted from the course which culminated today with the Certificate distribution ceremony organised at Community Development Centre, Bajwani, Tral. The course curriculum was equipped with the latest developments in the fashion designing sector and  online interactive sessions was the main stay of the course wherein candidates came to know about the latest techniques followed by the various renowned  corporate houses in designing of the merchandise. The event was attended by various Army and civil officials besides the locals from Tral including family members of the participants.
The participants during the closing ceremony mentioned that this was a great opportunity for them to learn and know the latest in the field of fashion designing and will provide them an opportunity to get a decent livelihood in future. The local populace lauded the efforts of Army for its endeavour in establishing Community Development Centre and empowering the women to pursue their careers.
