ANANTNAG — Former chief minister of erstwhile J&K State and president of People’s Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti said that decision over commencement of Amarnath Yatra will be taken by Centre irrespective of taking opinions from the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

On being asked whether National Conference should take part in Delimitation Commission, she said, “I read somewhere that NC is joining hands with BJP in Leh, so they will be better answerable whether they will participate or not.”

She also said that the Lieutenant Governor took notice of a little girl and announced a big decision on online classes within 24 hours.

“On the other hand, UAPA is imposed on a 15-year-old child. They are being kept in jails. The administration aims to discourage dissent in the Kashmir Valley by accusing it of petty crimes even under strict security legislation. But this has further alienated the people,” she added.
