SRINAGAR — National Health Mission in its analysis with regard to COVID-19 mortality in Jammu and Kashmir has stated that 93% of COVID-19 positive critical cases who died from the mid-April were unvaccinated while 7% were partially vaccinated.

It said that it clearly establishes that vaccination hugely reduces chances of death.

The NHM analysis states that delayed testing can prove really fatal. It said that 46% of deaths occurred within three days of testing positive, thus indicating that they were well into late stages of infection before they got tested.
