Srinagar: Hundreds of aspirants scheduled to write the test for the post of Junior Supervisors in Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) on August 20 are unable to download their admit cards from the official website.

The aspirants said on Friday that they failed to download their admit cards from the past four days because of errors in the KVIB website.

Several other aspirants reached at the KVIB office at Old Secretariat Srinagar after they couldn’t find their names in the list.

“We have come from Kalaroos Kupwara. We couldn’t download our admit cards. As we reached here (Srinagar) to get our admit cards, we were shocked after being told that our names didn’t figure in the list. We have form slips with us,” said Owais Ahmed, a candidate from Kalaroos Kupwara.

Javed Ahmad, another aspirant from Kulgam district, also voiced similar concerns. The aspirants appealed to the board authorities to postpone the exam so that they could sit in the exam.

“We have done lot of hard work and studies to go through the exam, now we are unable to sit for the same. This is sheer injustice to hundreds of candidates and is like playing with the careers of hundreds of aspirants,” a group of aspirants at Old Secretariat said. (GK)
