J-K Govt deploys 57 officers to SASB for Yatra support

SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Government ordered the deputation of 57 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service officers to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) on a short-term basis.

As per the communiqué, the officers will be deployed as Camp Directors and Additional Camp Directors at various camps along the route of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2024.

It said that the Controlling Officers are instructed to relieve the selected officers so they can report to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, on a date that will be communicated by the Board separately. The exact deployment of the officers will be determined by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.

During their deputation, the officers will continue to draw their salaries from their current places of posting. They will return to their respective positions immediately after the conclusion of the Yatra 2024, it further said.

The arrangement ensures that the necessary administrative support is provided for the smooth conduct of the Yatra, while maintaining the officers’ employment terms and conditions, it added.
