SRINAGAR — All Jammu and Kashmir Plumbers Association has thanked the LG administration for taking cognizance of the PHE employees who were indulging in private works despite being government employees.

Manzoor Ahmed Dar, President All Jammu and Kashmir Plumbers Association, while addressing a press conference in Srinagar said that some PHE employees were hell-bent on snatching their livelihood by doing their (private plumbers) job during duty hours.

“We had raised the issue with the authorities requesting them to curb the illegal activities of some PHE employees who, instead of doing their work, are doing the job of private plumbers, thus hitting their livelihood,” he said, adding that LG administration in this regard has issued a circular prohibiting these employees to indulge in private work during duty hours.
