Two OGWs arrested in Pulwama, claims J-K Police

SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and stated that a hideout was also discovered.

An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Srinagar Police with the assistance of Pulwama Police and 50 RR arrested two OGWs from Pulwama.

“On further interrogation, an input regarding the presence of Riyaz Sathrgund (LeT commander) was developed. Reportedly, Reyaz has asked them to build a hideout in Razikadal area of Nowhatta Srinagar,” he said.

The official said that on this, a CASO was launched along with CRPF and the hideout was discovered.

“However, the hideout was empty, while house owner was brought to PS (Police Station) and questioned and investigation is going on,” he said.
