JAMMU — Government Medical College, Jammu has announced J&K NHM (GMC Jammu) Staff Nurse Recruitment 2020 for contractual hiring of services under National Health Mission (NHM) for 125 posts of Staff Nurses in J&K.
The recruitment has been issued through Advertisement Notice No. 05 of 2020; Dated: 17-08-2020.
Job applications are, therefore, invited from eligible candidates for the post of Staff Nurse under National Health Mission (NHM), Division Cadre Jammu, UT of J&K.
It is pertinent to mention that the candidate should be a permanent resident of J&K in order to apply for these Staff Nurse posts. The selected candidate shall be allowed to join only on the production of Domicile Certificate.
Qualification for these posts has been stated as Matric with Diploma in Junior Staff Nursing Training from SMF or any other recognized Institute. With a maximum age to apply for these jobs being 45 years, the post of Staff Nurse carries a remuneration of Rs. 14,500 per month.
Given that the recruitment is for 125 posts of Staff Nurses, 107 posts are particularly for COVID-19 care while 18 posts are for the Department of Obstetrics, ICU & HDU, SMGS Hospital Jammu under LaQshya. The number of vacancies is only Indicative and may increase or decrease.
Application, as per prescribed format, should be deposited online through mail at [email protected] or through registered post on or before 30-08-2020 to the office of the Personnel Officer, Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College Jammu.
Application form for J&K NHM (GMC Jammu) Staff Nurse Recruitment 2020 found incomplete in any manner during the scrutiny of applications shall be rejected without any prior notice to the applicant.
List of documents to be attached with the application form:
- Copy of Date of Birth Certificate;
- Copy of mark sheets of all semesters required for the post applied;
- Copy of Diploma Certificate from recognized Institute/University;
- Experience Certificate, if any.
The candidate who have obtained degrees through Distance Education Mode from Universities recognized by the UGC as mentioned in Government Order No. 252-HME of 2012; Dated: 30-05-2012 issued by the Higher Education Department Civil Secretariat, J&K after 2005 shall have to submit a certificate from the concerned university alongwith application form stating that the candidate had undergone the degree from their University headquarters and not from the off-campuses which have been established by these Universities beyond their territorial Jurisdiction. Application shall not be accepted in absence of this certificate.
Applicant found having made any incorrect or false statement, suppressing material information shall render himself/herself liable for criminal proceedings. Also, no application shall he entertained after last date of submission (30-08-2020) of application form.
In case of poor performance, services of the candidates are liable to be terminated.
The engagement through J&K NHM (GMC Jammu) Staff Nurse Recruitment 2020 will be purely on contractual basis. Initial contract for hiring shall be for one year (i.e. every financial year) and further, the extension will be subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate/approval of the post by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
