J&K Police Advertisement Notice for the post of Constable (Armed/Executive) – 4000 Vacancies

Srinagar: Filled in OMR/OCR Application Forms are invited from the permanent residents of J&K State (on District/category wise) basis for their recruitment as Constable in J&K Police (Armed/Executive) against the vacancies (as per the District/category wise break-up – given in the Advertisement Notification available for download below – in the Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of  Rs. 1900/- in accordance with the conditions of employment as prescribed under J&K Special Recruitment Rules 2015 notified vide SRO 202 dated 30.06.2015.

Note: The recruitment will be for a total number of 4000 vacancies i.e (Executive Police=1000 & Armed Police=3000). However, the number of vacancies is tentative and subject to change. The Application Form in OMR/ICR format alongwith envelopes, Sample Summy Form, Acknowledgement Card and the Instruction Sheet shall be available in the offices of all the District SSPs in J&K/SSP CID Cell New Delhi with effect from September 15th 2015 against payment of fees of Rs. 300/- (three hundred only) in the shape of Demand Draft (DD)/postal order obtained from any of the Branch of J&K Bank/Post Office, payable to Chief Accounts Officer PHQ, payable at Jammu/Srinagar.

Candidates belonging to one District should not apply for recruitment in another District and should apply only in the district to which they belong (based on Permanent Residence Certificate). The duly filled in application form(OMR form) shall be deposited by the eligible candidates in the offices of respective District Superintendents of Police (SP) where the applicant resides. Candidates presently residing/working outside the state can also deposit their application forms in the office of SSP CID Cell (Address: 11, Harish Chander Mathur Lane, Near Max Muller Bhawan, KG Marg New Delhi-110001 Ph. 011-23738366/67).

The application forms should be accompanied by attested copies of the following certificates:

i)                    Matriculation certificate containing date of birth.

ii)                  State Subject Certificate.

iii)                Valid Reserved category certificate (if claimed).

iv)                Two copies of recent passport size photograph (in an envelope with the name of the applicant on the back side of the photograph in addition to the photograph pasted on OMR sheet/application form).

v)                  The candidates working as SPOs/Volunteer Home Guards and conforming to the aforesaid eligibility physical/educational standard shall attach certificate/(s) relating to engagement of SPO/Volunteer Home Guards issued by the concerned DDO/SSP none else under his seal/signatures and date of issue.

Note:-  The above mentioned attested certificates required to be submitted by the candidates should not be stapled with the application form (OMR sheet) but should be deposited separately at the time of submission of application form.
