Autumn

As autumn knocks at the door
The dreams change to chameleon
From green to crimson,
Fate plays fate, my love!

Destiny cries out loud
“Truth is pale skin,
truth for the born is death,
truth is the crimson leaf.”
And fate plays the fate, my love!

How merciless is this season of fall,
Alas! Its feet cannot be chained;
Leaves have to offer their life,
To heartless palace owners to tread upon.

With the blow of events,
Favourable and unfavourable
With the steps in between,
Fate plays fate, my love!

They do scream but silence
Fate plays fate, my love!
