At the centre of Kashmir
My village resides in
Here, some are very sheer
While some are to thrash tin
I am at this moment
Counting the sorrows and pains
While others at this sentiment
Are to find the personal gains
The streets are mind-blowing
At night, the bulbs are all round
Slowly, slowly faces are glowing
With a perfect technical sound
Being here, I feel cold
Through the air, clouds and the sky
During the winter, my hands are hold
Above the mountains so high!
