I see from far off
Beauty of my beloved
Where fireflies glowing
Like embers,
Take her down
From the stony Menelaus
And serve her in clusters as the Queen of Hearts.

There resound anthems
Like Cymbal’s, reverberating
Tell in a whispering power
How Oracles from Delphi are divine,
And words of prophecy ideal.

Sun beam meadows
Look like russet graces and
Trim clouds trail upon her place,
As she moves through the green tufts,
With a delightful pace.

Like a solitude, I sing
With a blood stained tongue,
And immortal voice,
The unsung song
Upon the advent of my heart.
