Srinagar: The students of BG 2nd Semester, who are going to appear in the upcoming examinations, have been directed to prepare two semesters in two courses – Environmental Studies & Communication Skills.

“The concerned students of BG 2nd Semester (CBCB System) are hereby informed that the Question Papers of two courses viz. ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES and COMMUNICATION SKILLS shall consist of the Prescribed Syllabi covered during 1st and 2nd Semesters, 2017,” reads the notification.

The Date Sheet for BG 2nd Semester CBCB (Choice Based Credit Based System) – Session July-August, 2017 for Regular / Fresh Private candidates of Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu Divisions has already been issued by the University of Kashmir.

As per the Date Sheet for BG 2nd Semester (CBCB System) July-August, 2017, the examination will start from July 10, 2017.

The candidates are advised to reach their examination centre at about 02:00 PM as the timing for examination is 02:30 PM.

Pertinently, the students were in a state of confusion as to which book they have to prepare for General English.

We called a few officials of the University and tried to get their response on this issue. However, there was no response.

Meanwhile, some Government Degree Colleges have issued a notice regarding this very issue, informing that questions from both ‘Vibrant English’ and ‘Enjoying Everyday English’ will be framed in the forthcoming examination of General English Paper.
