Srinagar: Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued an order, saying that Pre-Board / Golden Test for Class 10th & Class 12th is mandatory.
A Circular issued in this regard reads, “In continuation to this office circular issued vide No. DSEK/PS/198/2017; Dated: 09-09-2017, regarding the conduct of the Pre-Board / Golden Test for Class 10th / 12th, it has come to the notice of this Directorate, that some students are reluctant to appear in the Golden Test due to one or other reason which is a matter of grave concern.”
“Therefore, it is hereby impressed upon all the stakeholders that the Pre-Board / Golden Test for classes 10th and 12th is mandatory for all students. Any student who fails to appear in the above said Test will not be allowed to sit in the Annual Board Examination,” reads the notification further.
