Emergence of Imam Mehadi (AS), Jesus & Dajjal upto 10 or 23 years!

Almighty makes us conscious about the Day of Judgement in the Holy Quran a lot of times. What will happen on that day is also described in the Holy Quran but its particular date or period is not mentioned.

The life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the explanation of this holy book and the last Messenger of Almighty predicted a lot of narrations about the Day of Judgement.

In these narrations, signs, events, wars, victories, defeats and other things have been notified by the Messenger of Allah. Some of the narrations, when compared to each other and with the Quran, helps us to calculate how far is the Day of Judgement.

The Messenger of Allah says, “The life of my Ummah is the one day of Allah”. Hafiz Ibn Hajr Asqalni in the explanation of a tradition in Bukhari indicates that ‘the life of this Ummah is (1000 years) half the time the Jewish nation had (2000 years)’ but Imam Jallaluddin Suyuti wrote a Fatwa in which he said that it was supposed to be 1000 years but there are narrations of Rasool Allah (PBUH) in which he supplicates to Allah to give his Ummah more time so Allah granted them another half a day.

In the other narration, the beloved Prophet says, “I hope that Almighty will give you the half of a day also.” (Authentic by Nasir-ud-din Albani)

Now, the question is what is the day of Allah or to what interval of ours clock is the day of Allah equal to? For this, we have to go to the Holy Quran. The Almighty Allah says, “And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.” (Surah Al Hajj – Verse: 47)

From the above verse of chapter Al Hajj of the Holy Quran, it is clear that one day of Almighty Allah is equal to one thousand years of our count and half a day is equal to five hundred years. Therefore one and half a day of Allah (SWT) equals fifteen hundred years of our count.

Now again, there is a question. What is the Ummah? Ummah means the followers of Prophet and the Ummah or followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had came into existence when Sayeda Khadeja (RA), Hazrat Ali (RA), Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA), Hazrat Zaid Bin Haris (RA) accepted the message of this truthful Prophet.

Because Muhammad (PBUH) says, “On the Day of Judgement, all Prophets will be with their respective followers or Ummah and some will be with only one or few followers”. That means their Ummah will be a one or few persons.

If we count from this time, then the time elapsed by this Ummah is The Period in Makkah, beginning with the age of 40 till his emigration to Madina, 13 years later, and from emigration to the current (1438) Hijri calendar date. By summing up these two periods of time (13+1438), this equals fourteen hundred fifty one years.

Now subtract these elapsed 1451 years from the total 1500 years, the remaining years will be only fourty nine years!

Another view for this period is to count from the day when our beloved Prophet emigrates from Makkah to Madina and establishes the Islamic State there. Later in the era of Sayidna Umar, the Hijri calander was started on the advise of Sayidna Ali when a Muslim man from Yemen requested for Islamic calendar. From this time to the current time, it is 1438 years and the years left for Muslim Ummah will be then 63 years.

In these years, the major signs of the Day of Resurrection have to occur and these events are the arrival of Imam Mehadi, Isa Ibn Maryam (Jesus Christ), Dajjal (The Anti-Christ), mighty bloodshed (World War or Armageddon), Yajooj & Majooj or Gog & Magog and global establishment of Islamic rule (Khilafat).

Firstly, there will be the arrival of Imam Mehadi. Afterwards, the massive bloodshed and conquering the lands for Islam. Then Isa Ibn Maryam will descend in the East of Damascus at the White Minaret of Central Mosque during the Fajr prayer. After the arrival of Isa, the Islamic forces led by Imam Mehadi and Isa will complete the Fajr prayer. Immediately after the completion of the dawn prayer, they will come out from the mosque.

There will be Dajjal along with his Jewish forces and they will flee towards Israel but the opponents will track their path until Israel will be reached. Here, a big battle will take place between Muslims and Jews and Muslims will be victorious.

The beloved Messenger of Allah says, “The Last Hour will not come until the Muslims fight against the Jews and the Muslims kill them to the extent that the Jews will hide behind a rock or a tree and the rock or the tree will say: O Muslim! The servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the Gharqad tree (Boxthorn tree) will not say that because it is the tree of Jews. Then, the son of Mary will go in pursuit of the Dajjal, and will overtake him at the gate of Lud and will kill him and he (Jesus) will show the Muslims his (The Anti-Christ’s) blood on his (Jesus’) spear.”

The Jews are currently planting lots of Gharqad trees in Israel to protect themselves!

Afterwards, this victory without the only non-peaceful event of Yajooj & Majooj (Gog & Magog), the whole world will be under the single flag of Islam and peace will be established throughout.

According to different narrations in Sahi Sittah, Imam Mehadi will rule for seven years or nine years and Isa Ibn Maryam will remain upto fourty years. Sometime will pass, then Imam Mehadi will pass away. Hazrat Isa (AS) will offer his funeral prayer and bury him.

Then Hazrat Isa (AS) will stay with the people and will rule the world for sometime and he will also pass away. Muslims will perform his funeral and burial customs. Then the devil will again dominates over people, resulting in the worship of idols.

Then Allah will send a wind from Yemen that will be more softer than silk, and it will not leave a person with even a single seed of Iman, but will take his soul away. Now, the remaining people will be only disbelievers and will face the last hour about which Almighty warned us in the Holy Quran.

All these events will have to occur in the maximum limit of 63 years as described above. The time between the death of Isa Ibn Maryam to the time Allah takes the life of every Muslim with the cool breeze and the 40 live years of Isa are the later years of these 63. Therefore, the Great War (Armageddon), emergence of Imam Mehadi (AS), and Dajjal will have to occur in less than upcoming (63 minus 40 – time of Ummah after Jesus) 23 years but if the 13 years of Makkah are included then the time for these three events will be less than 10 years.

However, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) predicts that, “Mostly women will be the followers of Dajjal.” The reason will be the greed for wealth. May Allah (SWT) protect all Muslims from all kinds of temptations and the temptation of Dajjal!

We people are responsible for our mothers and sisters losing the track of guidance because every other male says that the women are immoral and mischievous rather we should take the steps like Islamic congregations for protecting their faith and also we cannot make the society without them!
