Release my son to fulfil her mother’s last wish, Srinagar man appeals

SRINAGAR — A man, Nazir Ahmad Khan from Chinar Colony area of Mehjoor Nagar locality in Srinagar has appealed to the J&K government to release his son, Momin Nazir who was detained in August last year.

After being kept Mehjoor Nagar Police Station, the 22-year-old youth was later shifted to an outside jail in Akbarpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Momin was the lone bread-winner for the destitute family while his father is very old and facing a tough time due to his wife’s illness and consequent expenditure on her medical treatment.

The mother of youth is on a deathbed after she suffered Kidney failure, also called end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

The youth’s mother now has a last wish — to see her son home again.
