Youth found dead at his home in Sopore

SRINAGAR — A 29-year-old youth was found dead in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday, officials said.

Officials said that a youth identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat (28) son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Muslimpeer Sopore, was found dead inside his home under mysterious conditions.

As per police sources, the body of the deceased person has been taken into custody in presence of police officials for post-mortem to determine the cause of death.

After completing the post-mortem and other legal formalities, the body will be handed over to the family.

A case under 172 CRPC has been registered and investigations have been taken up, sources added.
