I CALL THY NAME

0

In the desolate wilderness
I call thy name, My love!
And abraded my heart
With my fingernails
Until they dissolve into my blood

I have held out my heart
Into my hands
To melt down
Drop by drop
On thy departure

The owl hoots outside
And marks imprints of fear
Inside my mind
And made my night
Perturbed and scared

There is no mirth, left
Even in my dreams
Where I feel all alone
And sojourn for thy dawn
