JKPSC Rescheduled Written Test for Lecturer (10+2) Posts

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commisssion has released the JKPSC Rescheduled Written Test for Lecturer (10+2) Posts in School Education Department.

The JKPSC Rescheduled Written Test for Lecturer (10+2) Posts in Kashmiri, Persian, Islamic Studies, Geology & Functional English is in reference to notification issued vide Notification No. 09-PSC(DR-P) of 2016; Dated: 19-03-2016.

The Written Test for the post of Lecturer (10+2) Kashmiri, Persian, Islamic Studies, Geology and Functional English in School Education Department was earlier scheduled to be conducted on 28-04-2018 and 29-04-2018 respectively.

JKPSC had to change the written examination dates as J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) scheduled the examination for the post of Naib Tehsildar on 29-04-2018 from 01:00 PM to 3:00 PM which caused a clash of dates with the written examination for the post of Lecturer (10+2) in the disciplines of Geology and Functional English scheduled to be conducted on the same date i.e, 29-04-2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

“A number of representations have been received from the candidates, appearing in both the examinations, regarding rescheduling of Examination of Geology and Functional English,” reads the notification issued by JKPSC.

Therefore, in partial modification to the Notice, Dated: 20-03-2018 read with Notice, Dated: 23-03-2018, it is hereby notified for the information of all the concerned candidates that the written examination for the posts of Lecturer (10+2) in the subjects viz Kashmiri, Persian, Islamic Studies, Geology & Functional English in School Education Department is rescheduled as under:

The other terms and conditions as notified earlier will remain unchanged.

The candidates who are appearing in both the examinations i.e, the examination for the post of Naib Tehsildar to be conducted by JKSSB as well as the examination for the post of Lecturer (10+2) in the disciplines of Persian and Functional English, are advised to approach the JKSSB Office for the change of the examination centres, if required, to Jammu or Srinagar as the case may be.
