Android app launched for Highway updates

Srinagar: The Inspector General of Police (Traffic) Monday said the Traffic Police has introduced an Android software, “JK Traffic Police NHW” which can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store/Android market and provide guidance to the drivers and other road users.
The software, developed for Traffic NHW Ramban, will provide regular Highway status updates, general do’s & don’ts for drivers and other road users, contact numbers of the Police, vulnerable areas/interims of accident prone areas etc.
