SRINAGAR — More than half a dozen tourists are believed to have been injured in a suspected militant attack near the famous tourist destination of Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

“Terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists. While over half a dozen have been injured, we fear there may be some casualties,” a senior official said.
