SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) authorities on Sunday announced to postpone all the Class 12th exams scheduled for Monday due to inclement weather conditions.
“All the 12 class exams which was scheduled for March 09 (Monday) has been postponed due to heavy snowfall and fresh dates will be announced separately,” Secretary BOSE, Veena Pandita told the news agency GNS. The board decided on the recommendation by divisional authorities.
When contacted, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Rohit Kansal responded in affirmative about recommending the postponement of the examination scheduled for Monday.
Meanwhile, Kashmir University has also postponed all exams scheduled for Monday.
“All the Kashmir University examinations which were scheduled for March 9 were postponed due to snowfall,” PRO Abid Qadri said over the phone. Fresh dates for these examinations will be notified separately, he said.
