SRINAGAR — NIMS University of Rajasthan has suspended four girl students from Kashmir.

Reports said that four students from Kashmir studying at NIMS Rajasthan were suspended after their comments about attack on CRPF convoy went viral on social media.

One of the students has commented that ‘such massacres are a routine in Kashmir’. Another said, “Who can forget Gawkadal, Handwara, Kupwara or Anantnag massacres.”

Another student had commented about the use of pellet guns on Kashmiri people. “Where you dead when Indian troopers were blinding people in Kashmir in 2016. Where was the outrage then and why you are showing it today, you hypocrites,” she had posted.

Reports said that taking serious note of their comments, Rajasthan University suspended four girl students namely Tavleen Manzoor, Iqra, Zohra Nazir and Uzma Nazir. (CNS)
