CUK VC calls upon Chancellor

NEW DELHI — Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mehraj ud Din Mir held a detailed meeting with the varsity’s Chancellor, Lt. General Syed Ata Hasnain, former Military Secretary here on Monday.

VC apprised Hasnain about the shifting of majority of the Departments to Ganderbal and assured him that the remaining departments shall be shifted very soon.

VC also apprised the Chancellor about the support extended by the Civil Administration, both at the State and District level.

According statement issued here, Chancellor Hasnain said that he shall be visiting the university campus very shortly to have an interaction with the students, faculty and other stakeholders.

CUK also signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Deputy Secretary, B.B. Bhagat and Joint Secretary MHRD to assess and facilitate the performance of the University on selected key parameters against the targets set in order to further improve the performance of the varsity.
