MS Gandhi Nagar Hospital injured in road mishap

JAMMU — Medical Superintendent of Gandhi Nagar Hospital Jammu, Dr Chander Parkash was injured in a road mishap at Nagrota area of Jammu on Sunday morning.

Reports reaching here said that a vehicle (Tata Tiago car bearing Registration No. JK14E/7775) was on its way from Udhampur towards Jammu side reached near TCP Nagrota and rolled down about 10 to 15 feet.

In the mishap, the driver namely Dr Chander Parkash suffered injuries and was immediately evacuated to Government Medical College Jammu for treatment.

Dr Prakash is scheduled to take over as Administrative Medical Officer (ADMO) and Director Family Welfare on superannuation of Dr Arun Sharma on April, 01,2020.

Medical Superintendent, GMC Jammu Dr Dara Singh said that the doctor is being operated upon in the health facility. He said that the condition of the injured is stable.

Meanwhile, a police officer said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up in this connection.
