Kupwara, Feb 16: Recovery of two bodies on Saturday from Nallah Lolab triggered panic in this frontier district.
Bodies were identified of Muhammad Jamal Mir, 60, son of Khair Muhamamd of Khangund and Muhammad Shafi Lone, 35,son of Ghulam Rasool Lone of Khumryal Lolab.
A Police officer said that apparently it looks that the persons have died in an accident as a sumo seems to have skidded off the road and fell into the nallah.
Police have registered an FIR in police station Kupwara and started investigations. “We are looking for the Sumo driver who had fled from the spot,” the police officer added.
