COVID-19: Five more tests positive in Kashmir, tally 566 in J&K

SRINAGAR — Five fresh cases of novel coronavirus were reported from CD hospital here on Tuesday late afternoon.

Official sources said that five more persons tested positive for the pathogen at CD’s Viral Diagnostic Lab.

Earlier in the day, 15 people tested positive for the coronavirus in Kashmir.

Official sources said that among them, 10 were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab of SKIMS Soura and include five from Baramulla, four from Shopian and one from Kupwara.

Ten other cases were confirmed at the COVID-19 testing laboratory at Chest Disease Hospital Dalgate and include eight from Anantnag district and two from Pulwama.

As per the official data, there are now 566 COVID-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir and 58 of them are in the Jammu division.
