
SRINAGAR — 18 new cases tested positive for novel coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, raising the toll of cases testing positive in the Union Territory to 793.
Taking to micro blogging site Twitter, spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir government, Rohit Kansal tweeted, “J&K breaks the 3000 tests a day barrier – 3429 samples tested; 18 positives detected. Total positives now 793 – Jammu 68; Kashmir 725. Our positivity rate 2.1%; Mortality rate 1.13%”.
Among these 18 new cases testing positive on Thursday, 15 are from Kashmir and 03 from Jammu.
Jammu and Kashmir has now a total tally of 793 of positive cases, out of which 463 are active, 322 have recovered and 09 patients have died.
