Among four dead, two test positive for COVID-19 in SMHS Hospital

SRINAGAR — Among the four deaths that occured at SMHS Hospital Srinagar, two were tested positive for COVID-19 posthumously.

Hospital sources said that 4 patients died in SMHS Hospital today. All the bodies were shifted to Government Medical College mortuary after their samples were taken.

The tests of two patients were tested positive for COVID-19 while reports about two tests are awaited.

Those who have been tested positive are from Budgam and Srinagar city. One is male while another is female.

The male patient is from Wadwan Budgam while the female patient is from Tengpora Batamaloo area of Srinagar.

Both the deceased patients were elderly persons.

Earlier, two elderly patients from Shopian and Baramulla districts died of COVID-19 infection at SKIMS.

With these 4 latest deaths, the death toll due to Coronavirus has reached 67.
