COVID-19: Third single-day death as Shopian lady dies

SRINAGAR — A 60-year-old woman from Shopian died of COVID-19 at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar on Thursday, which is the third in the day so far.

Medical Superintendent at Chest Disease Hospital, Saleem Tak confirmed that a 60-year-old female from Nidoora area of Shopian died at Chest Disease Hospital Srinagar this evening.

Earlier, an 80-year-old man from Srinagar and 65-year-old from Shopian became the victim of this deadly virus.

The death toll due to COVID-19 rises to 72 in Jammu and Kashmir.
