1249 fresh cases of COVID-19 in J&K, total 67510

SRINAGAR — 62 travelers, 16 paramilitary men and two doctors were among 1249 new novel coronavirus cases in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total count to 67,510.

Among the fresh cases, they said, 646 were Jammu Division and 603 from Kashmir Valley.

Giving district-wise details, Srinagar reported 199, Budgam 62, Baramulla 80, Pulwama 25, Anantnag 40, Bandipora 41, Kupwara 61, Ganderbal 74, Kulgam 13, Shopian 8, Jammu 230, Rajouri 88, Udhampur 48, Kathua 24, Doda 61, Samba 39, Poonch 58, Ramban 44, Reasi 14, and Kishtwar 40.

Official sources said that J&K had more than double recoveries as 2796 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—1578 from Jammu Division and 1218 from Kashmir in the last 24 hours.
