NC MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi calls for restoration of Article 370, pushes for full autonomy

SRINAGAR — National Conference (NC) MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi stated on Saturday that restoring Article 370 is only the beginning and that the party aims for full autonomy.

At a news conference in Nawa-e-Subha, Mehdi pointed out that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed a desire for a resolution to the Kashmir issue but lacks a clear plan. He emphasized that the NC has a structured approach to restoring autonomy.

Mehdi also underscored that Kashmir remains an unresolved issue that requires dialogue between India and Pakistan. He stressed that the people of Jammu and Kashmir believe that a lasting resolution necessitates proper discussions.
