Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, VK Bidhuri, announced on Tuesday that the Amarnath Yatra, which began on July 29, has seen the participation of five lakh pilgrims so far.

The Amarnath Yatra for pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir was temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure on the fifth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370.
