In view of the ensuing Eid-ul-Adha festival, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole today said that the markets shall remain open for three days from July 28 to July 30 to facilitate hassle-free purchase of sacrificial animals and other necessary items.

Jammu and Kashmir’s Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam on Tuesday said that there is no substitute to sacrificing animals (Qurbani) on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha and people intending to sacrifice animals must follow proper guidelines and take extreme precautions while distributing the sacrificial meat among neighbours and relations.
