
SRINAGAR — A mild earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck Kashmir in the early hours of Monday, with its epicentre located in Baramulla district, officials said.
According to seismic data, the earthquake occurred at 2 am at a depth of 10 km. The epicentre was located at latitude 34.246°N and longitude 74.456°E in Baramulla district.
There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property.
The tremor was felt in parts of north Kashmir, though its impact remained limited.
