Madhya Pradesh tourist dies after chest pain at Pahalgam

PAHALGAM — A tourist from Madhya Pradesh died after complaining of chest pain at Pahalgam in south Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.

The deceased was identified as Kashi Kailash Nath, son of Manmohan Nath Sharma, a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

Officials said the tourist had arrived at a hotel in Pahalgam on Wednesday for an overnight stay.

On Thursday, he complained of chest pain and was subsequently evacuated to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pahalgam for medical treatment.

However, attending doctors declared him brought dead, officials said.
