Grenade attack in Pulwama’s Shadimarg

Srinagar: Suspected militants fired a UBGL grenade towards Army’s 44 RR camp in Shadimarg in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening.

Reports reaching here said that suspected militants fired a UBGL grenade towards Army camp in Shadimarg followed by brief exchange of fire between militants and goverment forces.

In this incident, one lady namely Firdousa recieved bullet wound and was immediately shifted to district hospital for treatment. As per the reports she is said to be stable.

SP Pulwama, Chandan Kohli said that they are verifying the incident.

Meanwhile, whole area has been cordoned off. (GNS)
