Dead body of ‘militant’ found in Sopore village

SOPORE — Unidentified male dead body was recovered in Nallah Malganpora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening.

Reports reaching here said that some locals spotted the body lying in Nallah Malanpora area of Sopore and immediately informed police about it.

Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said.

Reports said that the dead body found is probably of a militant.

A police officer said that the body has been recovered under mysterious conditions.

“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations have been initiated in this regard,” the officer said.
