JKSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2019 in J&K PDD

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a job Advertisement for 30 posts of Junior Engineer in Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD).

These post have been announced vide Advertisement No. 09/2019/001 dated 19th July, 2019.

Applicants should note that these posts were referred to JKSSB via Indent No.PDD/1-06/2003-II Dated:-23-01-2019 of Power Development Department.

The selections/appointments under this advertisement shall be made in terms of SRO 202 of 2015 dated 30.06.2015, read with its amendments, if any, made from time to time.

Applicants should note that these posts will be of State Cadre i.e, anyone who is a permanent resident of J&K can apply for these posts.

The online application form submission for these posts under JKSSB Advertisement No. 09 of 2019 will start from 24th of July, 2019 and one can apply till 20th of August, 2019.

Applications are, therefore, invited from the eligible candidates for participating in the selection process for State cadre posts shown below:

1) Post: Junior Engineer (Electric)

2) Department: J&K Power Development Department

3) No. of Vacancies: 30 Posts

Applicants willing to apply for these posts in J&K Power Development Department must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions:

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a permanent resident of J&K.

2) Age Limit: Applicant should have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per the criteria given below.

(a) 43 years in case of SC / ST / RBA / ALC / OSC (Other Social Caste) candidates.
(b) 42 years in case of Physically Handicapped candidates.
(c) 48 years in case of Ex-Servicemen.
(d) 40 years in case of candidates in Government Service / Contractual employees.

3) Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or AMIE (Sec. A&B) India or three years diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Selection Process: The selection process for the recruitment of Junior Engineers in the Power Development Department comprises of Written Exam only. There will be no interview for these posts.

Only those candidates who score highest marks in the exam will be selected for the Junior Engineers posts in Power Development Department.
