Search operation launched in Pulwama village

PULWAMA — Joint Forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on Friday late afternoon in Rahmoo village of south Kashmir district of Pulwama.

The search operation was launched in Wani Mohalla of Rahmoo.

Locals said that Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and soldiers from 53 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a joint search operation and conducted searches.

All exit points were sealed by the forces, they said, adding, later house to house search was launched.

The operation was going on when the reports last came in.
