SRINAGAR — Directorate of Health Services Kashmir on Thursday said that there are no patients in Kashmir Valley with Coronavirus-like symptoms. He said that those suspected of this virus have turned out to be negative.
An official said that they had sent samples of five suspected persons to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and their reports indicate that they are not infected with the deadly Coronavirus.
“Though the reports we received about them are negative, still, we found it desirable and necessary to keep those five persons in quarantine at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura,” the official said and asked people not to panic.
“We usually monitor those, who have a travel history and so far, there is no patient with Coronavirus symptoms,” he added.
