SRINAGAR — An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) succumbed to his injuries at a hospital after militants attacked a joint team of security forces at the Gangoo crossing of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
A top police officer, according to news agency GNS, said that an ASI of 182 Battalion CRPF succumbed to his injuries soon after he was shifted to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Soon after the attack, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
