SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday announced that Chief Education Officer (CEO) Anantnag is being put under suspension.

In a pre-dawn tweet, Administrative Secretary School Education department, Asgar Samoon announced that CEO Anantnag is being put under suspension.

“Shocked to know; middle school monghal Ang has 15 teachers & 13 students; those who don’t teach don’t deserve mercy,” Asgar Samoon wrote on Twitter.

“Directors to explain why teacher deployments not rationalised despite directions of HLG; CEO Ang being placed under suspension for others to follow or face action,” Samoon’s tweet, posted at 4:58 AM, added further.
