Srinagar: The 10+2 lecturers going to appear in National eligibility Test (NET) and Public Service Commission (PSC) examinations are in dilemma as the dates of tests fall on the same day.

“CSIR is conducting the NET exam on June 19 and on the same date JKPSC is conducting the exam for +2 lecturers in the subjects of Zoology and Mathematics,” they said.

“The clash could have been avoided easily by choosing separate date for the examinations,” they said.

The aspirants said that many of them have been preparing for NET for past four months while some candidates are appearing in their last chance of JRF.

“PSC is playing with the career of students,” they said.

They also said they have also deposited Rs 1000 fee for CSIR NET and Rs 500 for JKPSC, and therefore don’t want to miss either of the two exams.

“We appeal the PSC authorities to kindly revise the date of +2 lecturer exam for Zoology and Mathematics subjects. Both the exams are very crucial for us and we don’t want to miss any of these exams for which we have done a lot of hard work,” the aspirants appealed.
