Srinagar: The Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) of BGSBU organised a day-long workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on Friday.
According to a statement by the University, Vipan Kakkar, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SMVDU, Katra was the resource person of the workshop. Iqbal Parwez, Dean Academic Affairs and Coordinator TEQIP III presided the inaugural function of the workshop.
Parwez in his address urged on the need of Intellectual Property Rights awareness in the knowledge society.
Mohammad Asgar addressed the participants and highlighted the need for looking at the problems existing within the local eco-system differently, thinking out of box which in turn leads to innovation.
Vipan Kakkar deliberated during the day-long workshop on varied aspects of Intellectual Property Rights.
