Class 9th T1 Exam begins across Kashmir, Leh & Kargil

914 Centres established for 48020 candidates by the Department

Srinagar: The Class 9th T1 Exam started today across Kashmir Division including Leh and Kargil in which a total of 48020 students are appearing for which the Department has established 914 centres across the Division.

Highlighting the importance of providing cordial environment to students during examination Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo has said that it will help students to perform better. He directed all the supervisory staff to make sure a cordial environment for the students in the examination centres.

DSEK Dr. Itoo expressed these views during passing the directions of inspecting various examination centres in Srinagar to Joint Director Central Abid Hussain.

Accordingly, JD Central Abid Hussain accompanied by Chief Education Officer Srinagar Mudasir Kaleem Fazili and other officers of the Department visited many examination centres established in Srinagar including GHSS Rainawari, BHSS Hazratbal and GHSS Khanyar and took stock of the various facilities being provided to the students.

They also interacted with the students and teachers at these centres and stressed to ensure cordial environment to the students and maintaining discipline. Joint Director sought details from the concerned regarding attendance of students and other concerned matters.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Class 9th T1 Exam has started today across Kashmir Division including Leh and Kargil and will culminate within a short span of 6 days on 21st July 2018 for which the Department has directed the concerned to put in place adequate facilities.

DSEK Dr. G.N. Itoo briefed regarding these examinations and said, “As per Date Sheet, the examination for English was conducted today and it will culminate within short time of 6 days and the students will again engage in teaching learning process soon after.” (KNS)
