Classwork suspended in many institutions of Valley

SRINAGAR — Classwork has been ordered to be suspended in many educational institutions of the Valley.

The authorities have ordered suspension of classwork as the student protests rocked the Valley after shocking news of a 3-year-old girl’s rape in Sumbal area of Bandipora was reported.

The institutions were classwork will remain suspended today include Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial Degree College Bemina, Amar Singh College Srinagar, Government College for Women M.A. Road Srinagar, Gandhi Memorial College Srinagar, Sri Pratap College Srinagar, Islamia College of Science & Commerce Srinagar and Government College for Women Nawakadal.

Classwork in higher secondary schools of Srinagar district shall also remain suspended today.

Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora has also decided to suspend classwork today.

Also, Government Degree College for Women Baramulla and Government Degree College for Boys Baramulla has been ordered to suspend classwork today.

Meanwhile, University of Kashmir’s North Campus in Delina Baramulla said that B.Tech 7th Semester examination has been postponed as no buses will ply today.
