SRINAGAR — Students of 1st Semester from Cluster University Srinagar staged a protest at Press Enclave Srinagar, demanding online examination and syllabus reduction for the scheduled semester exams.

Tahir Ahmad, Semester 1st student at Amar Singh college, said, “We have studied least in these pandemic times. It’s impossible for us to appear for offline exams as it may have consequences on our health.”

The students demanded that they should be given at least 30-40 percent relaxation in the syllabus. “There has been a lot of distraction already. It’s pretty much difficult for us to prepare all the stuff,” said another student.
