Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education - JKBOSE

SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has initiated a comprehensive exercise aimed at updating the information of Class 11 students for the ongoing academic session of 2023-24. In a circular released by the board, specific directives have been issued regarding the revision of subjects, photographs, and signatures for these students.

The board has mandated all district and tehsil heads to compile and furnish comprehensive lists of candidates from their respective schools and educational institutions for this purpose. These lists, available in both electronic and hard copy formats, are to be submitted along with a nominal fee of Rs. 200 per candidate, as specified in the annexures provided by JKBOSE.

To ensure a seamless process, the requisite information must reach the offices of the Assistant Secretary ITSS, Kashmir Division, for students based in Kashmir (including Kargil district), and the Assistant Secretary ITSS, Jammu Division, for students in Jammu (including Leh district). The deadline for submission is set on or before January 4, 2024.

The primary objective behind this updation endeavour is to maintain accurate and updated records of Class 11 students registered under JKBOSE for the academic year 2023-24 across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Schools and institutions have been strongly advised to adhere strictly to the submission guidelines and the stipulated deadline imposed by the board to facilitate a streamlined and error-free completion of the process.
