SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Friday finally announced the date sheets for the annual regular examinations of Class 10th and 12th of Kashmir Division with the increase in relaxation by 10 percent more.

The examination of Class 10th shall commence from November 09 and will end on November 27 while Class 12th examination will start from November 10 and will finish on December 09.

Moreover, BOSE has also increased the relaxation to 40 percent that means the students appearing in these examinations shall have now to attempt only 60 percent of the paper that will proportionally be raised to 100 percent.

10th, 12th Class results to be declared next month

Confirming the development, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor KK Sharma took to Twitter and wrote, “Annual Regular Exams for Class 10th & 12th will commence from 9th & 10th Nov resp for Kmr & Winter zone of Jammu. BOSE increases relaxation by 40%, Students to attempt 60% marks which will be raised to 100%. Done in interest of Students. Exams will end on 27th Nov & 9th Dec resp.”

Meanwhile, Chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita also confirmed the increase in relaxation and said that the decision was taken during a review meeting held today in which Advisor to Lieutenant Governor also participated.

JKBOSE postpones Class 10th & Class 12th Annual Private Examination

Earlier, BOSE through a notification had announced 30 percent relaxations for the students appearing in these examinations.

As per the notification issued by the BOSE, all the concerned heads of the institutions have been advised to ensure proper heating and sitting arrangements for the candidates appearing in the aforesaid examinations.

They have been also advised to ensure proper sanitization of the exam centres before the commencement of these examinations.

Students appearing in the examinations have been advised to adhere to COVID-19 SOP’s such as wearing face masks, ensuring proper social distancing and use of hand sanitizers.
